Pathways 4 All would like to say a huge THANK YOU to the Tyne Tunnel staff team, who took part in the 2022 Great North Run. TT2 had a team of 9 enthusiastic runners taking part on behalf of our charity.
The TT2 staff team decided to run for our charity following a visit to the Tim Lamb Centre to find out what we do and the difference we make to the lives of disabled children. They then very kindly made a second visit in April to donate 400 Easter eggs, which we gave out to the children who visited the centre over the Easter period.
Even before the Great North Run, the team wasted no time with their fundraising efforts, organising a fundraising event in their office building, selling raffle and tombola tickets, cakes and clothing.
Then came the big event, the Great North Run itself, on Sunday 11th September. Wearing their Pathways 4 All t-shirts, the runners took part in this esteemed event which draws in hundreds of thousands of people from across the world.
Collectively the team raised £2,595.91 and Tyne Tunnel have generously match funded this amount, so we have received a fantastic £5,191.82 in total. Thank you so much to everyone involved.
