Tim Lamb Centre

COVID 19 – Update

After careful consideration and in line with guidance, we plan to reopen the Tim Lamb Centre during the week beginning 21st June*.  We understand this is a longer wait than expected, but it will allow us to open the centre without the need to restrict numbers.  We know it would be especially difficult for our children to understand if family visits had to be contained to one room, as we know they love to have the run of the whole place!
As you will probably be aware, we are in the process of installing some exciting new equipment in our play garden.  We also need to make changes to our soft play area in line with government guidance.  We need to ensure all work is completed before we reopen, to reduce further closures in the future.
For families:
As of the week beginning 21st June, we will open on Wednesday evenings 4-7pm and weekends 11am-4pm.  Then from Saturday 17th July we will be open daily between 11am-4pm for the school holidays, up until Sunday 29th August. (We will be closed Monday 30th August to Sunday 5th September).  Our full programme including short breaks sessions will be relaunched from Monday 6th September.
For schools, colleges and care providers:
From the week beginning 21st June, if you would like to visit the Tim Lamb Centre during the school day, you will need to make a booking at least 48 hours beforehand to ensure we have staff available.  Please email info@pathways4all.co.uk to book.

We are so grateful for the continued support and patience you have given us during this difficult time and we truly can’t wait to see everyone back at the centre having a great time once again.

*  Providing the dates for lifting restrictions are not delayed.

Tim Lamb Centre

The Tim Lamb Centre offers specialist activity and leisure facilities for disabled children/ young people and their families.  Our Centre is open to families with a child/ young person at any stage of their diagnostic journey and whatever their additional needs.

Our facilities include a soft play area with adjoining cafe, a well equipped sensory room, large multi-purpose hall with indoor trampolines, a toddler playroom, teenage/ games room and a computer suite.  We also have a large fully enclosed outdoor playground, (with high fencing) which includes a range of inclusive play and sensory equipment.

The building is fully wheelchair accessible and we have a disabled toilet, which includes a full size changing bed and ceiling hoist facility.

What our families say about the Tim Lamb Centre…

“It is such a relief to finally find a place where there is no judgement and everyone understands”
“Love it here, I have a child with autism and sensory needs, he has the freedom to be him”
“Great facility where you don’t feel judged and can relax while they let off steam in whatever way they want to”

To use the facilities at the Tim Lamb Centre you will need to join as a Pathways 4 All member first.  This is to ensure our facilities remain exclusive to families of disabled children and their invited guests.  Families are welcome to join on their first visit.  Please see our membership section for full details.

We have our very own onsite café at the Tim Lamb Centre which serves a range of light refreshments and main meals during key opening hours.

Our centre is also available for exclusive hire to our family members wishing to host a children’s birthday party.

We always feel very fortunate that the Tim Lamb Centre is situated in such beautiful surroundings.  If you are visiting us for the first time, why not take a look at our information page about the Rising Sun Country Park.  Many of our member families combine a visit to our centre, with a stroll around the country park too.
