Tim Lamb Centre
The Tim Lamb Centre offers specialist activity and leisure facilities for disabled children/ young people and their families. Our Centre is open to families with a child/ young person at any stage of their diagnostic journey and whatever their additional needs.
Our facilities include a soft play area with adjoining cafe, a well equipped sensory room, large multi-purpose hall with indoor trampolines, a toddler playroom, teenage/ games room and a computer suite. We also have a large fully enclosed outdoor playground, (with high fencing) which includes a range of inclusive play and sensory equipment.
The building is fully wheelchair accessible and we have a disabled toilet that includes a full size changing bed and ceiling hoist facility.
What our families say about the Tim Lamb Centre…
“It is such a relief to finally find a place where there is no judgement and everyone understands”
“Love it here, I have a child with autism and sensory needs, he has the freedom to be him”
“Great facility where you don’t feel judged and can relax while they let off steam in whatever way they want to”
To use the facilities at the Tim Lamb Centre you will need to join as a Pathways 4 All member first. This is to ensure our facilities remain exclusive to families of disabled children and their invited guests. Families are welcome to join on their first visit. Please see our membership section for full details.
We have our very own onsite café at the Tim Lamb Centre which serves a range of light refreshments and main meals during key opening hours.
We always feel very fortunate that the Tim Lamb Centre is situated in such beautiful surroundings. If you are visiting us for the first time, why not take a look at our information page about the Rising Sun Country Park. Many of our member families combine a visit to our centre, with a stroll around the country park too.
