Making a Difference in Disabled Children’s Lives

Pathways 4 All is a parent-led charity, providing play and leisure services for disabled children and young people.  We support disabled children/ young people and their families across Tyne & Wear, Northumberland, Country Durham and Teesside.  We also work with a number of special schools in the area, in addition to a range of other organisations providing care and support locally.

Pathways 4 All offer a range of services including family-focused events and seasonal parties; short break care activities for younger children and a youth club for teens; Easter and Summer holiday playschemes; and term-time social activities for young disabled adults.

Pathways 4 All also work with wider family members too, providing family carers with the opportunity to come together for parent-to-parent support at our regular term-time coffee mornings.  We also have an online Facebook community group now too.

We know that having a disabled brother or sister can impact on family life, so we offer support to siblings through social activities just for them.

The majority of our services operated from our specialist play and leisure provision, the Tim Lamb Centre.

Tim Lamb Centre

The Tim Lamb Centre is our specialist play and leisure provision, situated in the picturesque surroundings of the Rising Sun Country Park.  Facilities at the Tim Lamb Centre include soft play, indoor trampolines, sensory room, ICT suite, café and more.  The centre also benefits from a large, fully enclosed play-garden, which includes a range of inclusive play and sensory equipment.

This is a fantastic centre for children & young people with disabilities and their families/friends. It’s run by dedicated, lovely people who can’t do enough to make sure there is plenty to entertain the children”
