We are overjoyed and very grateful to receive a generous grant of £14,500 from the Morrisons Foundation.  The award is to purchase a new wheelchair accessible swing, our second major playground item from our Pathways 2 Play Appeal wish list.

The swing will replace our old and outdated one.  The newer model has a radar key operated enclosure and includes a number of additional safety features.  The new swing will be fitted into the Tim Lamb Centre garden early into the new year.   It is going to be placed in line with the rest of the playground swings, offering a much more socially inclusive experience for all our children.

The wheelchair-accessible swing will be our second major playground purchase, following on from our Cruise Line.  Key alterations to the Tim Lamb Centre garden have also been carried out in preparation.  These include moving the boundary fence behind the existing swing line, back by 2 meters which will allow sufficient space for this new addition.    We are also expecting our new easy-access ramp to be fitted shortly too.

We are really hoping that early into 2021, the situation with Covid, will have improved and we will be able to welcome back all our families for some fun times ahead!
