On Thursday we were delighted to announce our CEO was awarded an MBE, but she didn’t stop there because she was awarded a Platinum Champion Award on Friday too!
Lynn McManus was chosen by HRH The Duchess of Cornwall as one of only 490 award winners, from over 3000 entrants.  The award is from the Royal Voluntary Service in recognition of Lynn’s voluntary commitment to our charity over the past 13 years.

“The Platinum Champions Awards, launched by Royal Voluntary Service in honour of Her Majesty The Queen’s 70 years of service, have given us the opportunity to celebrate the remarkable contribution of all volunteers, who truly are the backbone of our country.

Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Cornwall
Lynn’s dedication to start the charity, her ongoing voluntary work as CEO and her outstanding fundraising efforts, have made an enormous difference to the lives of hundreds of disabled children and their families.
We are very proud of Lynn and we’re pleased that her commitment to our charity has been given the recognition it deserves.
Congratulations to Lynn McManus, MBE!!
