Pathways 4 All celebrated Leap Year’s Day 2020 with a Leap Year – Leap Frog family FUNdraising event.  This special one-off occasion took place on Saturday 29th February at the Tim Lamb Centre and proved to be a ‘frogtastic’ day.  With over 60 families attending, there were lots of frog related activities enjoyed by all, including frog crafts, frogspawn messy play and ‘frogtastic’ party games.  Children were invited to come in fancy dress for our Best Dressed Frog competition (pictured first) and were treated to ‘frogtastic’ photo opportunities with our very own Frog King and a very large frog cut out too.

We were also very grateful to Ali and her True Colours Theatre Group, who got us underway with their version of the Frog Chorus.

Overall the family fun day raised £700 towards our  Pathways 2 Play Appeal and we want to say a huge THANK YOU to all the families and numerous local businesses who donated raffle and tombola prizes, froglicious cakes and frog toys/ ornaments for our bring & buy stall.  We also want to make special mention to the NE12 Knitters who kindly hand-knitted a collection of frogs for our Lucky Pond Dip and to Newburn based printing company Imprint who very kindly donated the very large card board cut out frogs.
