Is your child prone to wandering or can they become disorientated in new places?
Our Pathways 4 All Assistance Cards are a fantastic safety net for families who have a disabled child prone to wandering. The assistance cards could also be a useful aid to young people with communication difficulties, whilst they are developing their independent travel skills.
The card, which can be attached to bags, zips or placed inside a wallet, can be presented by the child or young person if they become confused or lost.
The cards are available to any family with a disabled child/ young person. They are free of charge and your child/ young person does not need to be a Pathways 4 All member to benefit.
To get yours please pop into the Tim Lamb Centre and speak to the receptionist on duty.
Read more about how these assistance cards have reassured one parent of a disabled child, which was featured in a recent Evening Chronicle article.
