Pathways 4 All have been very fortunate to benefit from hard working volunteers from the DWP.

The first volunteer team visited us on Thursday.  They did make a start on the gardening tasks we had requested, but the weather was truly awful and so after a while the volunteers took cover in our main hall, where they did lots of preparation work for our Christmas parties.

The second team visited on Wednesday 20th of November.  Half the team worked really hard, despite the cold weather, completing the garden work started the previous week.  The blue box like structures at the front of the Tim Lamb Centre garden have now been removed and land slopped ready for seeding in the spring.  The other half of the team enjoyed putting up Christmas decorations in and around the cafe area, which is now looking very festive 🎄

We were also delighted to receive a large Christmas tree, compliments of ASDA Benton, which some of the staff from the DWP were able to negotiate on our behalf.
